Week 7 (30.07.06) Match 2
Celpigs 0 - Rarelyreal 3
Pigs Desperately Seeking Win
As the season draws to a close with only 3 weeks left, the Pigs are made to wait longer for their first win. R.Real signalled their intention with an early goal from ChoFatt, who managed to sidestepped Pigs' Kevin Lee to release a thunderous low that shot past the hapless keeper.
Pigs tried gamely to equalise but no goals were forthcoming. Lawrence added another for R.Real but were yellow carded later for charging and elbowing the Pigs' keeper.
First half ended frustratingly for the Pigs being 2 goals down. The action resumed thick and fast in the second half with Aaron pulling off saves after saves to keep his Pigs in contention. With his forwards firing blanks, his only hope is to keep the scoreline respectable.
A great pass from Jong Chiueh gave Lawrence a simple tap in from the top of the penalty area for R.real 3rd and last goal of the day.
Man-of-da-match : Raymond (R.Real)
Goal Scorers :-
ChoFatt (R.Real) - 1 goal
Lawrence (R.Real) - 2 goals
2 Comments:
Rarely Real is on fire to catch Real Madreed, so every game counts for them right now.
Celpigs were no push overs. We had a very hard game against them. Alwin, Chee Siang and Kok Wai are strong players for them, but their finishing was simply poor yesterday (luckily). But i guess the finishing let them down. On top of that, the inexperience of Kevin Lee and Douglas also cost them their first and second goal. Hmmmm... didn't i mention to their manager that he should buy better offensive players?
Man of the Match, Raymond was actually having minor asthma before the game. What a tremendous player. I want to thank my players for their effort and will look forward to playing Real Madreed next week.

Hey, is celpig in the running for any prize? Maybe the fairplay award should go to us.
Btw, which team is celpig up against this coming sunday?
